We are the ONLY townhouse in the resort that has a PRIVATE housekeeper and we supply our own high quality sheets and towels. We are constanlty updating, refreshing or adding new features. 10B is literally home to us. So you can count on quality and comfort. The kitchen is all new with a large farm style kitchen sink with HOT water and a new stovetop. Coolers, two beach chairs and snorkel gear are provided for your use. Recently (2024) installed privacy wall on the second floor patio that allows you to enjoy the tranquiity, without taking away the views. Surprisingly, The ONLY one on the entire front row of townhouses. We installed a Lattice on the 1st. floor patio with flowered vines on the 1 st. fl. patio to help shade the sun and allow for some privacy. TV with hundreds of channels on the 1st fl. and a smart TV mounted on the wall in the master bedroom.

We are in a nice quiet section ideal location gives you a front row seat to spectacular sea views. It is only a 30 second stroll to the resort's salt-water pool. Enough to be close, but far enough for optimum peace and privacy. It's midway between the two separate sets of stairs leading down to the turquoise water, and just a few steps from a shady gazebo that's perfect for reading or napping.
The 2nd floor suite master bedroom, expanded by 40% from the original footprint, opens onto a balcony with awning and that incrediable view filled with fish, turtles, dolphins, coral and more. We had a Custom made Desk/Drawer combo installed, perfect if you want to use the area as a remote office, you can easily work from there. It is hard-wired for Internet and fast WIFI. Upgraded wall-to-wall sliding glass doors, along with screened & a new louvered kitchen entry (with electronic lock, no more keys) and side windows take full advantage of the constant trade winds that cool the west without compromising security.
There's everything you need for a perfect vacation: large fridge w/icemaker that is on steriods, microwaveairfryer combo, blender, toaster, 4-burner cooktop, flat-screen smart tv, on-demand hot water in kitchen and both showers, air conditioners (new) & ceiling fans upstairs and down, dining table & seating for 4 on both balcony and lanai, and that essential charcoal grill. Divers appreciate the extra rod and equipment hangers in the first-floor bath. Linens, towels and pool/beach towels are, of course, provided, and there's secure storage for your valuables. We just returned home from our wonderful stay at Sandy Bottoms! We had an amazing week here! The gated property made us feel safe, and the unit itself was clean and well equipped! We used the bbq grill every night for supper and had breakfast on the balcony every morning! The view was gorgeous and the water was crystal clear!

Just finished a 10 day stay at SandyBottoms. Great location! Greg and Beth were very attentive hosts with lots of useful tips. We are snorkelers, not divers. We just spent 2 weeks (May 2024) at Sandy bottoms-10B. Our hosts asked us to send them any recommendations that might make the stay better and we couldn’t think of a single thing to suggest to them! Everything is exactly as the listing describes and the communication between us and the hosts could not have been better. They are readily available thru either text or e-mail to answer any and all questions or concerns. That was very comforting even though we did not have any concerns come up during our stay.
Of our 12 full days in Curacao, we only spent one day in Willemstad. All others were spent in the peaceful, beautiful oceanside areas near Westpunt. There were 3 great restaurants within easy walking distance (<10 mins?) from 10B. And another 2 a mile away which we enjoyed walking to as well because we a love walking! Very convenient either way.
We did 9 shore dives on our own at various sites nearby and enjoyed each one! Go West dive shop supplied our tanks, easy-peasy.
When we return to Curacao, we will definitely try to stay at Marazul and 10B will be our first choice!

“This lovely property was exactly as described and fully met our expectations. Cheryl and David are great hosts and they provided us with a wealth of useful information prior to our arrival. The upstairs terrace makes for a very pleasant spot with awesome sea views for breakfast or lunch. There are several great restaurants nearby, but we also had everything we needed to cook at the house in the evenings after watching the beautiful sunsets. We kept a through breeze through the property when we were home as it got hot during the day. We found we only needed to use the upstairs fan and air conditioner to cool the bedroom in the late evening. Direct access to the sea from the property is important to us, so we enjoyed using the steps down to the water at each end of the resort. The saltwater pool is also very nice, and the cabana offers essential shade in the midday hours. We wanted to be at the quiet end of the island, and close to shore access for snorkeling. There are multiple beaches within 5-10 mins drive, and you can walk to Playa Forti or even swim over if you don’t want to get in the car. Just get in the water and you will see something new every day! We had a very enjoyable week and would choose to stay here again.”

"While the word "paradise" is thrown around a lot, you will find it at Cheryl & David's place. It is located on the quieter, western side of the island, surrounded by some of the best beaches on Curaçao. The complex in which the apartment sits is well-maintained, with grills and gazebos for relaxing and eating, and it has its own private stairs down that lead directly into the stunning turquoise water. The apartment itself has everything you will need for a stay of any duration, and the view is incredible. Sitting out on the terrace and watching the sunset over the sea every night was such a wonderful experience, and the stars that follow don't disappoint either. And, Cheryl & David are the perfect hosts, providing a great deal of helpful information, being easily accessible, and responding promptly whenever you may wish to communicate with them. I would recommend this stay to anyone."

"David & Cheryl were amazing hosts who shared tons of insights, ideas, tips for navigating the island affordably and efficiently, and recommendations for great experiences during our stay. The condo was well maintained, and all of the functionality/availability of amenities was spot on with the description. The ocean breeze was definitely strong most days and usually blew right through the home, which was helpful with the 85+ degree days and 80 degree nights... air conditioning was a nice back-up to have for a couple of the extra hot evenings. The kitchen was great for preparing meals at home in between visiting charming local restaurants. The condo was in a quiet and peaceful area at the northwestern tip of the island - nice for relaxing and having some privacy, though a bit challenging for exploring a variety of beaches and other sites in other parts of the island. Diving is probably great here, but snorkelers and sunbathers (like us) will enjoy beaches further south."

“Cheryl and David's place was a perfect base from which to explore Curacao's gorgeous western beaches (many within 5-15 minutes drive and a few you can walk to). The townhome is just as described, minimal, clean, and very comfortable--akin to a well-appointed cabin--and they are very responsive to any questions or issues. We loved having coffee and cocktails on the deck, befriending the local cat, and trying out a new snorkeling spot each day. A deeply relaxing, unforgettable vacation!”

“Believe the hype! Unbelievable location, stunning ocean views and 1 minute walk away from the clearest Caribbean water and the greatest variety of fish and wildlife we’ve ever seen.
